Following the opening of the John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse, a park was created on the courthouse's waterfront promenade on Boston's Fan Pier. Like the courthouse, the Harborpark was designed for the public to take full advantage of the magnificent views and beautiful landscaping. Lively, colorful panels exhibited along the park offer the visitor information on the commercial, economic, and environmental history of Boston Harbor.
