That completed work—whether history, periodical, catalog, report, or brochure—is a versatile and enduring piece that advances our client's message on every page.

Vern Associates is very excited about the new, noteworthy projects presently in the works. Together, they cover a wide array of subjects and challenges that are stretching our abilities and imaginations. Here are just three:

  • The catalog for Paint, Pattern, & People: Furniture of Southeastern Pennsylvania, 1725–1850 will accompany an exhibition at the Winterthur Museum and Country Estate in Wilmington, Delaware (opening next spring). We are designing and producing this large-format, clothbound catalog, which includes more than 300 full-color illustrations. This is our first project for Winterthur.
  • Also on the museum front, we are delighted to be working once again with the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, for which we are editing, designing, and producing a catalog of its Chinese export ceramics collection. This large-format, clothbound, full-color catalog containing more than 275 entries is the result of years of work by William R. Sargent, PEM’s recently retired Curator of Asian Export Art.
  • The Orton Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustained excellence in community planning in small cities and towns across the United States, is another first-time client. The foundation has commissioned Vern Associates to design The Planners Guide to CommunityViz,® a handbook for their flagship GIS software tool for planners.

We will update you regularly about our progress with these and other Vern Associates projects in the works.
